About the centre
The Palmeraie Rotana Resort hotel complex, formerly the Palmeraie Golf Palace, was home to one of the very first bowling alleys in Marrakech: 6 lanes at the start of the Palmeraie circuit, about ten kilometres from the city centre and 15 km from the airport. BowlingMaroc.com listed it as early as 2009, already noting that the lanes were in poor condition. The resort renovated and reopened it in February 2018, billing it as “the first bowling alley in Morocco”: 6 fluorescent synthetic lanes, latest-generation string pinsetters and ball returns designed by Pininfarina.
In 2026, the bowling page disappeared from the resort's website, and we have found no recent confirmation that the bowling alley is still operating and open to non-residents. For a game in Marrakech, head to Bowling Almazar or the Grand Plaza bowling alley instead.
