Frequently asked questions
Is the score book really free?
Yes. It is free, with no ads and no subscription. It is offered by BowlingMaroc.com, the portal for bowling in Morocco, in association with the ASBM.
Do I have to enter every frame?
No. You can enter just the total of each game, or even only the total of a series. Frame-by-frame or pin-by-pin entry simply unlocks more detailed stats.
Does it work on a phone, even without a signal?
Yes. Logging is designed for your phone, at the lanes. Without a signal, your games are kept on the device and sent automatically when you are back online.
Who can see my scores?
Nobody but you. Your games are private, and you can export or delete your data at any time.
Can I import my old score book?
Yes: import a CSV file (at least date and score) from the Reports page. You can also enter old series with just their total.
How are the handicap and strengths and weaknesses worked out?
The handicap uses the usual formula (basis minus average, multiplied by a percentage you choose). Strengths and weaknesses are worked out only from your own games.
Will clubs and associations be able to use it?
That is planned: league and tournament management for clubs will come in a later stage. Your personal score book will then be able to link to it.
