About the centre
Tamaris Bowling is the leading bowling centre in the Casablanca area. Opened in April 2010 within the Tamaris Aquaparc complex, on the Azemmour road in Dar Bouazza (about 20 minutes from the city centre), it was billed at its opening as Casablanca's first bowling alley, at least of the modern era: the city had several bowling halls in the 1950s (see our history of bowling in Morocco). It has 12 professional Brunswick lanes, maintained every day, with a wide choice of balls for all ages and builds.
In the evening, the lanes switch to a glow-in-the-dark atmosphere under black light. Children play on lanes fitted with automatic bumpers. The centre also has 7 pool tables with professional lighting and the Tamaris Kids games room: mini go-karts, air hockey, table football and an indoor play area with a ball pit. On site, fast food is provided by partners, and a large car park takes both cars and coaches.
To our knowledge, it is also the only bowling centre in Morocco with a pro shop: you can buy your own ball there and have it drilled to fit your hand by a technician, as well as shoes and accessories. Tamaris Bowling hosts birthday parties, company outings and seminars. It is the home venue of Bowling Club Casablanca, and it has hosted tournaments of the ASBM (Moroccan Bowling Sports Association), including the Tamaris Bowling Challenge.

The pro shop: buy your own ball and have it drilled
Tamaris Bowling is home to a pro shop, a rarity in Morocco: you can buy bowling balls there, a technician drills them to fit your hand (span, hole size, pitch angles), and you will also find shoes and accessories. Playing conditions: among the best lanes in Morocco
For experienced bowlers and competitors, Tamaris Bowling is, along with Megamall Bowling in Rabat, one of the two best bowling centres in Morocco when it comes to lane oiling and maintenance. The lanes are oiled with a proper lane machine (lane conditioner), which lays down a consistent oil pattern that can be reproduced from one lane to the next. That is what allows bowlers to read the lane, work on their hook and play in conditions close to those of international tournaments.
