About the centre
In the Socco Alto shopping centre, on the Californie road, Bowling & Fun Park Socco Alto is Tangier's first modern bowling centre (the city had open-air lanes as early as 1953). Opened in 2016 and run by Best Leisure (Aradei Capital group, like WAW Casablanca), it occupies a 680 m² hall within a leisure area of more than 3,000 m² that also includes a children's Fun Park: trampolines, a maze, rides and arcade games, played with a rechargeable game card.
It is the meeting point for bowlers in northern Morocco: the Tangier section of the ASBM (Moroccan Bowling Sports Association) plays its league here every week, and the centre hosts the Tangier International Open, organised by the ASBM with the bowling centre's management. The shopping centre offers 1,000 free parking spaces, around fifteen restaurants and a hypermarket.

The Socco Alto Fun Park has three birthday rooms available for private hire, a stone's throw from the lanes, with entertainment on request (juggling clown, magic, dance). ASBM leagues at Socco Alto
Since 2025, the ASBM, Morocco's oldest bowling association, has had a Tangier section and runs a league every Tuesday at 7:30 pm at the Socco Alto bowling centre. Each evening is played over three games, with standings and a final at the end of the league, in an atmosphere that is both friendly and competitive.
Love bowling and live in Tangier? Join us! All levels are welcome, from beginners to experienced bowlers, adults and children aged 8 and over. You will improve quickly with tips from experienced players, bowl at a preferential rate and be able to take part in the association's tournaments, such as the Tangier International Open and the Intercity Strike Cup.

The Tangier International Open
Organised by the ASBM with the Socco Alto bowling centre, the Tangier International Open has become a fixture on the Moroccan bowling calendar in just two editions:
- 1st edition, 30 November 2024: around fifty players, including some forty Moroccans from Tangier, Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech, as well as European players. Won by Aytekin Kara of Turkey.
- 2nd edition, 1 November 2025: 64 men and women from Tangier, Rabat, Agadir, Casablanca, Marrakech and Ben Guerir, joined by participants from Turkey, France, Iraq and Kuwait.
